Here we go again...2007!

Well...inspired by the latest blogs in the family (namely Katie & Mom) as well as the continuous blogs by Rachel (where you have to go to see any new pics of her girls) and Jo Jo/Robert, I decided to get in the game! Plus since I don't scrapbook or keep a journal, this may be all future generations hear of me ever!

2007 has been great to me so far. I have been busy as ever in the grand motherhood department trying to keep up with the kidlings. Bailey is wonderful as ever...growing up so beautifully and so responsible! She has even babysat for me while I was at Book Club (across the street) and does as good a job or even better than my regular sitters! No surprise there. Cameron is doing great in school and dance and loves taking care of her brother. Morgan is hilarious and so fun to be with...when in the right mood that is. She loves Dora, Diego and her best friend Briton and still asks for Baampa whenever she talks to Maama. Jackson is growing like crazy, weighs 21 pounds (just 4 pounds less than his big sister Morgan) and crawling all over. He is definitely the strongest of the babies I have had and the quietest. He does not make a peep unless he is tired or hungry! ALL JOHN!!! The great news in the motherhood dept. is the Love & Logic class I have been taking. I am a truly a HUGE FAN! It is changing my life as I learn better ways to deal with all of my kids. And they are noticing a huge difference in me as I notice it in them. Basically there is MUCH less yelling on my part...a little more complaining on their part ("BUT MOM!! I don't want to choose!") but overall so much better. If you have the chance to take a Love & Logic class, I highly recommend it!!!

John is doing great of course. He continues to be a wonderful husband, father and provider. I love being partners with him and believe we make a terrific team. I am soooo blessed. We have been reading Dr. Laura's new book "The Proper Care and Feeding of Marriage" together and it has been fun to discuss the different topics. We have two copies as he will read on the road while I read at home so it has been very productive and helpful.

I have been crazy busy trying to get my PTA board together for next year. It has been smooth so far and I am excited about the year we will have thanks to the great board I will have (in case you didn't know....I will be PTA Pres next year...again). Lots of people think I am psycho but it really makes me happy being so involved in the kids' school. Plus it is helpful material for the book I am writing about how to get involved in your kids' education. I know I don't have all the experience necessary yet...but it will come!

Well..this is it for now. Hopefully I can get more in this year...Have a great week!
