March family madness!!

I'm back!...2 times in a month...wow! And welcome beautiful Penelope born to Andy & Annette on March 21st...a terrific Spring arrival. I was able to be there and loved holding her in her first few minutes of life. What joy! Annette of course did great and is doing even better now.
What a woman.

Here are a few more photos of our last few weeks:

Bathing Beauties!!! Yep! All 4 at once!!
Jack Jack and Captain Jack at Owen's Party! Morgan was there but would have nothing to do with taking a close-up photo with the star of the party. Jack Jack, as he pulls on Capt. Jack's hair, has no problem at all.

Morgan, Cameron and Beautiful Hannah Stayner who visited with her brother Zachary and parents at the
beginning of March...

Now an update of our very own March Madness: It really is madness around here trying to run a household and chasing 4 busy kids...

Cameron is performing in a dance competition with her dance group, Lightbox, this weekend and they have been practicing like crazy. Last night she had her dress rehearsal and she looked adorable...I promise to post pics when I get them. She is a great little dancer and has the perfect facial expressions. The teacher put her smack dab in the front so she could wow the judges with her huge smile!

Bailey has been busy with school projects (Just ask her about her dolphin diorama), swimming, piano and babysitting for me. How I love having a very responsible 9 year old around...she is a joy.

Morgan is a crazy 3 year old that is not quite getting the potty training thing. She insists on wearing underwear in the morning and then several hours later (after a few successful potty sessions) has some kind of accident. The fun ones are the #2's as you can imagine. Then we downgrade to pull-ups which she insists on changing at ANY sign of wetness (and these puppies are expensive) so we downgrade yet again to diapers. Agggghhhh! My theory is to let the child decided when they are ready but THIS child is just a little too independent and has decided she HAS to be ready even when she is not. What to do???

Jackson is my darling sweetheart boy. I was always told what a great blessing it is to have a son for the MOTHER but I really did not believe it until now. He is my little cuddle buddy when he is not on the move. He is one strong little buckeroo. He was crawling at about 7 months and at almost 10 months is cruising around on furniture and behind the garbage can and anything he can stand with and push and pull over. He will be walking at any moment now. He is also the happiest little thing you ever did see...he smiles and is content as long as he is fed. Nothing bothers the kid. He even got his finger poked at the doctor for blood tests and did not even flinch. What a stud. John likes to take him to the park and hang him on the monkey bars, let go and count to see how long he lasts hanging there with no help. Lately he has even started doing a modified pull-ups...yes he takes after his strong papa.

My wonderful John has been home the last two weeks which has been fun and helpful but of course challenging as we adjust (especially controlling me as you can imagine). We have been trying to take advantage of daddy-home-time and do fun things while it lasts.

This weekend we are headed to California for Spring Break and we can't wait to bask in the sun, swim to our heart's content and most of all see our loved ones! See you soon!!! Love to all until next time...

Just wanted to send a quick post with these darling pics of our new niece, Amanda Jane Creer. We gave her this pink carseat cover and we could not resist the photo op. Enjoy. And more from me later...
